Jack had such an exciting day yesterday. Gramma and Grampa came came over to spend the afternoon. They arrived just in time as he was finishing up his late morning brunch. Baby Jack is also eagerly awaiting his chance to meet Nana Lirije who is coming all the way from Albania to spend time and help take care of him early next week. It won't be too long until Gjyshi Qazim visits, as well. And Gjyshi is rumored to be the Ultimate Spoiling Machine.
Gramma made a great dish of White Chicken Chili for Mom and Dad to eat after she and Grampa went home. It was delicious! After Mom and Dad ate the chili dinner, Jack and his Daddy played their own father-son version of "Dueling Banjos". Except there were no banjos! Daddy was oh so proud. Mommy just rolled her eyes and left the room.
Jack gets his very first "Boom-Chicka-Boom..." song from Grampa. Dad does a pretty good "Boom-Chicka-Boom" but nobody can do it quite like Grampa. Aunt Leigh Anne and Aunt Brooke will attest to that. "...Chicka-Boom-Boom-Boom"
Gramma says, "bye-bye" to baby Jack. I think she wanted to stay with him all day.
Off to the land of nod after a long day of visiting. Love you Gramma and Grampa.
Jack ~ Grampa and I loved our visit with you yesterday. Daddy is right -- I didn't want to leave you! Be a good boy. We'll be back soon.
